Our Story

A community defined by its members.

We're a non-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to providing a welcoming, safe space for all women and girls to learn and enjoy chess. Whether you've never moved a pawn or you're chasing your next rating, you belong here.

Our club is built on socialising and positive interactions across every skill level. We value each person's diverse talents, and we're proud to be recognised by the English Chess Federation as an award-winning club for women in chess.

"Chess is for all. Join us and be part of a dynamic community where you can develop your skills, make new friends, and have a great time."
